New York City. We breed all of the varieties of Dutch, which include
Black, Blue, Chocolate, Gray, Steel, and Tortoise.
I personally have been involved in rabbit breeding since I was in high
school 15 years ago. I fell in love with a chocolate Dutch doe named
Hershey, and I was hooked for good! As a breed, they're a nice size
(no more than 5 pounds), have a calm temperament, and make
excellent mothers. They make wonderful pets, and I love them for
showing because they satisfy my desire to breed for the perfect coat
pattern.
